Climatic conditions in Zambia

Zambia has a sub-tropical climate. It has three distinct seasons.

Between December and April the weather is hot and wet, with summer temperatures ranging from 24 to 35° C. During the night the temperature remains close to 20° C.

From May to August it is cooler and drier; maximum daily temperatures range between 20 and 27 °C, whilst the nights can become quite chilly at 6 to 13° C.
From September to November, conditions are hot and dry. Maximum daily temperatures range between 26 and 39 °C.
