‘Hi, my name is Joseffa Kafunta and I’ll be so happy to show you my Africa, my Zambia. This place really is wild and beautiful. Come and visit the Bangweulu Floodplains with me; we’ll travel in Mokoros (African canoes). Let me show you the many bird species that inhabit these picturesque, far-reaching floodplains; we’ll walk later in search of the rare Shoebill Stork, endemic to the floodplains. And then perhaps we’ll cook some fresh River Perch for dinner? Perhaps? You don’t believe me? Don’t you think I’ll be able to catch some fish?...’

Experience 14 days of wild Africa in Zambia
25th July to 7th August 2009

A truncated version of our 21 day trip for those who may be pressed for time, but are still keen to explore the dramatic wilderness areas that Zambia has to offer. This safari will take you to northern and eastern Zambia. The destinations are the same as the 21 days safari, apart from omitting visits to the Africa House and the North Luangwa National Park. The benefit of this tour is that is perhaps less challenging physically and definitely financially!
